On New Year's Eve, Dolgachev is released after six years of imprisonment. He has set his heart on being on the straight, but the circumstances make him commit the last crime in his life in the evening of December 31. And Irina, a professional visiting nurse, was going to meet this New Year with her fiancé. But she finds out that he is going to celebrate it with another woman. Destiny brought Dolgachev and Irina, such a different people, together in the house of a former musical comedy actress. Seventy-year-old Agnessa Leopoldovna has been wheelchair-bound for ten years, and she thought she would never get on her feet. But this New Year brought happy changed to destiny of all of them.
